• Committed to increasing the use of renewable energy (solar panels, wind turbines, etc.)
• One of the charter signatories on the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment
• Dining services team strives to use local, sustainable, and fair-trade food and composts 281 tons of food waste annually
• Total energy usage has decreased 9 percent since 2005
• 90-panel solar array in Curry Student Center produces more than 21 kilowatts of power
• Green-certified cleaning products used in all campus buildings
