The EntreTech Forum
was launched in the Fall '07 as a consistent schedule of monthly
program-meetings through a speaker series of moderated panels providing
technology-innovation presentations. These will feature entrepreneurial
and corporate accomplishments along commercialization pathways with
discussions of tech transfer and technology incubation from universities
and industry. The subject of capital raising and deal structure
will be included along with presentations of emerging academic research.
The open meetings will be held in Waltham at the Emerging Enterprise
Center of Foley Hoag and at campus locations. Details for the next
meeting are listed below.

The EntreTech
Speakers series introduces students from the School of Technological
Entrepreneurship (STE) to experienced entrepreneurs who can share
real world experiences. The purpose of the series is to bridge
materials students are learning in class with actual examples
from people who have experienced it first hand. The motivation
is to have students learn how concepts have been applied in actual
startup situations. Speakers may relate to students stories demonstrating
the methods they used to overcome serious issues they faced. These
could relate to financing the company at various stages, identifying
real markets for their products, bringing the company public,
or going through an acquisition. Nine sessions are planned each
academic year.
All are welcome.
Pizza will be served!!
