Authentication
Accessing the myNEU Web Portal requires a myNEU Username and myNEU Password
- myNEU Username: This name is assigned to you when you establish your myNEU account. You then use it at login. Your myNEU Username is typically your last name followed by a period followed by the first letter or letters of your first name. (Example: Dana Smythe would have "smythe.d" or perhaps "smythe.da" as myNEU Username.)
- myNEU Password: This is an alphanumeric password used at login. You can choose your myNEU Password—it must be 6-14 characters long and it's case-sensitive. Hint: Pick a password that you'll remember but will be hard for anyone else to guess.
- If you have never used the myNEU Web Portal before, just go to myNEU.neu.edu and click on "How do I get my myNEU username and password?"
Accessing the Telephone Voice Response System (617.373.8000) requires
an NUID and 4-Digit PIN
- NUID: This is your 9-digit NUID number, used at login.
- 4-Digit PIN: This is the 4-digit Personal Identification Number. If you have never used your 4-digit PIN, you should use your default 4-digit PIN:
- For undergraduate day students, your default 4-digit PIN is your birthday, day first, then month. (Example: If your birthday is December 1, then your default 4-digit PIN is 0112.) The first time you use the system you will be required to change your 4-Digit PIN to a number you will remember.
- For all other students, your default 4-digit PIN is the first four digits of your permanent address zip code. (Example: If your zip code is 02131, your default 4-digit PIN is 0213.) The first time you use the system you will be required to change your 4-Digit PIN to a number you will remember.
