I have always said it is an honor to be an international educator at an institution that places experiential learning at the heart of its pedagogy. There has always been a deeply rooted appreciation for student learning out of the classroom at Northeastern University, which continues to raise the integration of practice and theory to a new art. It also means that we attract students who seek a more integrated academic experience that prepares individuals from all walks of life to be industry leaders, change agents, and knowledge creators, as well as engaged global citizens. Simply put, all of our students expect us to provide transformative experiences to connect real-world and classroom learning.

The Office of International Study Programs (OISP) is the University's center which provides credit-bearing, study abroad program options for Northeastern University students. These programs take place at partnered institutions and include semester, faculty-led, and summer options. OISP's primary goal is to continue to encourage members of the Northeastern University community to join us in our efforts to coordinate international program opportunities for all NU students and to help realize the institutional mission to educate students for a life of fulfillment and accomplishment through societal and global engagement.

The India program allows students to take courses in the liberal arts while studying in the largest democracy in the world! Students have the opportunity to explore India's cultural and religious diversity while experiencing the impact of modernity upon tradition.
