Greater Boston area high school students attended Northeastern’s second annual “Pharmacy Summer Experience,” a four-day camp created by School of Pharmacy faculty members, pharmacists, and pharmacy students to offer teenagers a glimpse of the opportunities within the field of pharmacy.
Northeastern students, along with their peers at Wheelock College and Suffolk University, are helping preschoolers in the Roxbury neighborhood get a jump on literacy through the Jumpstart School Readiness for All Initiative.
Northeastern University was awarded a coveted U.S. Department of Education grant in May to fund the creation of a new major in Middle East studies, and expand course offerings in Arabic, as well as Hebrew.
