Living Learning Community & Husky Eyes

A Living Learning Community or LLC is a community in a residence hall where students share a common theme or academic interest. Husky Eyes is a freshmen year program. The mission of Husky EYES is to educate students within their first year by offering opportunities to learn about Northeastern's urban residential community, while gaining valuable skills which will ultimately assist them in contributing positively to Northeastern's diverse community.

UNITE (Unifying Northeastern Identities Through Education)

UNITE Mission Statement

UNITE is committed to providing an educational experience that will encourage students to view the concept of diversity from a variety of perspectives to foster understanding and ultimately gain greater respect and acceptance among individual identities.

As an educating body on campus, UNITE will train, educate and continue the conversation within the Northeastern community in the belief that understanding, respecting and appreciating diversity is fundamental to creating a campus and world where all people can fully participate. Our goal is to develop a greater understanding of each other and to move beyond tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within each individual.
