Executive Engagement

The Office for University Corporate Partnerships supports opportunities for senior executives and managers to connect with and benefit from Northeastern’s academic programs and professional resources. Examples of recent activities include:

Volunteer Service

Northeastern taps the business community for executives to serve on governance groups such as the Northeastern Corporation and advisory boards such as the College of Business Administration’s Board of Visitors.

Guest Lectures

Faculty invite business leaders to act as guest lecturers in classes and share their expertise with undergraduate and graduate students.

Corporate Partnership Days

An on-campus event where company managers (often former alumni) come to campus to share their experiences and insights with students and faculty in a variety of settings, such as guest lectures and keynote presentations.

Company Alumni Events

Northeastern hosts gatherings on campus or at a company’s location for alumni and co-op students. Recent events have included on-site receptions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Textron Systems, Deloitte & Touche and Citizens Bank.

CEO Breakfast Series

This series brings CEO speakers from leading companies to campus at least six times per year. Speakers represent a variety of industries, including (in 2006-2007) software, financial services, pharmaceuticals and transportation.
