The Internet is a fantastic tool for getting information about industries,
employers and jobs. Still, fewer than 10 percent of searchers actually
report finding jobs through the Internet. Use it creatively and with discrimination
as part, not all of your search.

HuskyCareerLink:
This Career Services online system has jobs and a database of employers
interested in Northeastern students. Access On-Campus Recruiting and Vault.com
through HuskyCareerLink, a free service for NU students and alumni/ae.
Current students enter through myNEU.
NACElink:
NACElink is a free national web database of jobs posted for new college
graduates. Set up an account.
General Internet resources
The Riley Guide
features sections on using the Internet in job searches, resumes, e-networking
and an A to Z index.
Try Google for
searches such as "careers in biology," "jobs in engineering"
or "entry-level jobs." This will lead you to field-specific
job sites. Also use Google for researching companies, industries and locations.
Job-Hunt.org
is a guide to job sites on the Web.
Researching
Companies Online is a guide to just that.
Job listings from your citys newspaper, as in BostonWorks.
Job boards with entry-level jobs
