Finding Job Leads:
Recruiters, Headhunters and Staffing Agencies

Recruiters and headhunters are more effective with experienced — not entry-level — candidates. If you post your resume on Monster or other job boards, you may get calls from recruiters. Be aware that you should never agree to pay anyone for presenting you as a candidate for a job.

Staffing or temporary employment agencies hire temporary staff in virtually all fields. Temp-to-perm positions might lead to permanent employment if you do well. Find third-party recruiters under “Third-Party Staffing” in HuskyCareer Link

Find local staffing agencies by specialty in the Yellow Pages. Find many others through the Riley Guide or Jobsitez.
