What's the difference between Career Services and Co-op?

Career Services focuses on after-graduation employment and offers employers opportunities to connect with Northeastern students through career fairs, on-campus recruiting and an online employment system, erecruiting.

Cooperative education, or co-op, provides undergraduate students with formal integrated six-month work experiences so they gain practical, real-world experience with the theories and principles they’ve learned in the classroom. For more information on the co-op program, call Fred Hoskins at (617) 373-3283, or e-mail him at f.hoskins@neu.edu.
