So, you have the job. What now?
• Get a clear picture of what you want and go after it.
• Clarify, research and learn how people enter your chosen field. Is a bachelor’s degree all you need? Is a license or certification required? Is graduate school necessary?
• What positions are open to new graduates in your field? What skills and qualifications are required? What role do you want to play in your job or career? What type of organization would you like to work for?
• Where do you want to live?
• What is your job likely to pay?
• Create a working goal statement. As you proceed, you will probably be able to make it more and more specific.
