Admissions Deadlines

Applicants for admission will receive their decision by the deadlines below. Transfer students receive decisions on a rolling basis once all application credentials have been received. If you are a freshman accepted for September entrance and plan to attend Northeastern, you must submit an enrollment deposit (if applicable) no later than May 1.

September Admission

November 1
Early Action deadline for freshmen; decisions released on-line by December 31 

January 15
Regular deadline for freshmen; decisions released on-line by April 1 

January Admission

October 15
Deadline for international freshmen and transfer students for Spring; decisions released on-line on a rolling basis

November 1
Deadline for freshmen and transfer students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents; decisions released on-line on a rolling basis

High-school grade-point average: 3.60-4.10 (middle 50 percent)

SAT scores: 1770-2030
(middle 50 percent)

ACT scores: 27-30
(middle 50 percent)
