"Meet and Greet" at Receptions and Informational Meetings Share your "real-life" insights and experiences each fall and spring at off-campus evening receptions and information meetings across the nation.
Host a Reception or Informational Meeting
If your office is available in the evenings or weekends, and you would be willing to host one of our programs, please let us know!
- Receptions
Meet and greet families and share your enthusiasm about Northeastern at short presentations typically lasting one to two hours. You may be asked to speak about your experiences.- Informational Meetings
Sit with parents and family members at informational meetings and share your Northeastern experiences, as well as greet the next family as they arrive.
Drop Off Materials at Local High Schools
If you are in an area where there are no college fairs, you may consider dropping off admissions materials at local high schools.
Make Award Presentations
Northeastern University offers awards and scholarships to our freshman students. Many high schools have awards assemblies and would appreciate having someone representing Northeastern present at these scholarships to their students.
Be an AAP Coordinator
We are looking for AAP Area Coordinators who will take on important leadership roles in their regions and assist our office with managing a large group of alumni. Most importantly, AAP Cordinators must be excited about the future of Northeastern University, well organized, and motivated team players.
As an AAP Coordinator, you may be responsible for:
- Maintaining a cohesive AAP regional group
- Contacting alumni about college fairs in the region
- Assisting with the organization of local receptions
- Becoming more familiar with the school system in your region
- Reporting to the Alumni Admission Coordinator regularly.
You must be a volunteer to be an AAP Coordinator. If you're interested in becoming an Area Coordinator, contact Bill Purnell at alumniadmissions@neu.edu.
